Week 2: Flu Season

• Had an absolutely shocking cold. I even had a moment on the dog walk when my lungs wouldn’t get any air in and collapsed on the ground unable to breathe. I was only 50m from home and couldn’t make it. Pretty scary. I’ve never had anything like that happen before. I realised I had to properly rest and let it work its way through.
• Missing this month’s book club due to a trip away, so taking the opportunity top read something of my own choosing for a change. Although quite short I’m not motivated to finish Seascrapers, but might try and plough on. My stack of books I want to read keeps getting bigger!
• Dobby is super snuggly this time of year, which is lovely. He’s all blankets and naps.
• Such beautiful sunshine and sunsets over Christmas and new year.
