Week 10: Bradley Cooper

• Finally got around to doing some art with my art friend. We hadn't been very good at meeting up since the new year. It was nice to see Avi again, and I made some progress on a picture I started a while ago. Nice to see her again. I have to back off a lot of hobbies over the winter months and this was a casualty.
• Met up with Kate after work in a lovely bar in Westminster for cocktails. Had such a nice evening catching up. It had been ages since I'd seen her. She was convinced that Bradley Cooper had been in there before I arrived, and got the waitress to check.
• Book Club this week. Last month's was a Robert Harris novel set in the time of Charles I. I didn't read it, as I wasn't really into a historical fiction, but the others raved about his writing. Made me think I might go back and read another of his at some point. He wrote Conclave! This month's book is The Colour Purple, which I'm quite excited to read.
• Got out for my first proper bike ride this weekend. Did the Greenway, but added an ill judged extension up towards Ashwell. It was very sticky claggy mud and was incredibly hard going. I don't think I'll be heading out that way again. I'll try to find a way to make it longer another way.
